short shifter

Hey all i just bought a short shifter today and was curious if anyone had any advice on installing it? I have a magazine that shows how to do it on a 92 hb. It couldn't be that much different could it?

YES!! i got my short shifter in. the only problem is that i have a aftermarket exhaust and now the gear bar that the shifter connects to scapes on top of the exhaust pipe.

i just got a DC shifter, yea i know what you mean and mine catback section is stock! Its not bad on mine, but i can sorta feel it hit when i hold the shifter sometimes, but i think it should be ok.
